Easter Fun at Flemingate! This Easter –
Fruit Market Hull – free Easter Trail. 5th to 21st April. Start at Forum on Humber Street and follow the clues to help find the missing chicken.
There is also a free Easter trail at Hull Minster. 8th to 19th April, 10am-4pm daily. Free entry to the Minster and trail is free.
Hessle Scarecrow Trail, 14th – 20th April. This year’s trail features 41 scarecrows created by local homes and businesses, turning the town into a quirky, fun-filled adventure for all ages. Free to participate, download a map on the Hessle town council website or pick up in participating shops.
Healthy Holidays Hull is back for Easter! There are lots of free activities, open to all school aged children and young people living in Hull. Runs throughout the Easter school holidays, find what’s on and book on their website here.

HAF East Riding – the East Riding school holiday program also returns for Easter, free activities for children at an East Riding School in receipt of benefit related free school meals. Find out more on their website here.
FREE swimming at East Riding Leisure – for children age 3-16 and under this Easter at East Riding Leisure centres. There will be a total 16 hours a week of free swimming sessions during the Easter holidays. Each centre will offer two free one hour sessions per week (Excludes bank holidays). Water’s Edge Visitor Centre & Nature Reserve – located on the south bank of the river Humber at Barton, DN18 5JR. A great, free day out with boardwalks and trails around the nature reserve to explore. Also for Easter –
Hull Libraries and East Riding Libraries have lots of school holiday for sessions for children. Some need booking in advance, pop in to your local one to find out more.
The Village Hotel Hull Health & Wellness Club on Priory Park Hull have a great offer – a FREE one day pass. You can use the pass as a family and take the children to use their pool, or if you have a teen you can take them to use the gym with you (over 14s only), or you can use it yourself to try all the facilities – the gym, a class and the pool. Simply sign up on their website here and one of the gym team will call you to discuss what type of pass you would like.
Thread & Press CIC – Family Drawing Workshop. Learn to Draw a Face. 14th April, 10am – 11.30am at Darby and Joan Hall, Cottingham. Aimed at children aged 7+, this workshop is educational but fun! Adults can join in too. Just £5 per child, accompanying adult joins in for free.

The Deep – Whale Hello There! The Deep have extra events in school holidays, included in the admission price. Have a ‘whale’ of a this Easter and dive into the world of marine mammals! Between 28th March-21st April 2025, come along and join us for our NEW event. Visitors are highly recommended to book online in advance of their visit. Remember you can get an annual pass which makes regular visits very cheap.
Dalby Forest – Dalby is a great place for a walk. NEW for 2025 – Stick Man Activity Trail. Families can follow the beloved character on his journey back to the family tree.
