Both Hull and East Riding councils put on free school holiday activities, they will be returning for the Summer!
Flemingate Bunny Bonanza Art Trail! Free event, runs 22nd March – 8th April. Find all the decorated Bunnies around Flemingate. Take your completed forms to Art & Soul and pick up an Easter Treat, plus the chance to WIN a family Jump for 4 people at Jump Inc. at Flemingate.
Fruit Market Hull Free Bunny Trail. Along Humber Street Hull from 23rd to March to 7th April 2024. Hunt for the missing bunny! Start at Form Shop and Studio to get the first clue, solve the rest of the clues to discover the bunnies hiding place and a code word, then collect your prize.

Hull Museums have free Easter Trail running 23rd March to 7th April, pick up a sheet from Hull and East Riding Museum, Streetlife Museum or Ferens Art Gallery. Feren’s Art Gallery also has a free family exhibition running – Jason Wilsher-Mills: Are We There Yet? Runs to 2nd June 2024, there are extra activities around the event for the school holidays.
In York, the National Railway Museum has the Flying Scotsman back and on display, entry is free to this museum (you need to book a slot in advance).
East Hull Community Farm Easter Eggstravaganza – Easter egg hunt daily to find the colourful eggs around the farm. Also mask making, Easter bonnet parade and wooden egg decorating, on selected days during the school holidays. Open Monday to Friday from 9 am – 3pm, free entry (donations appreciated). Hull Truck Theatre: have A Great Easter Adventure! Great Adventures return for Easter 2024! 30th March, 2nd and 3rd April. Designed for children aged 3-6 years old and their families. Each show lasts approximately 30 mins. Session 1: Arts & Crafts: 10 – 10.45am, Show: 10.45 – 11.15am. Session 2: Arts & Crafts: 11.30am – 12.15pm, Show: 12.15 – 12.45pm. Tickets are a bargain £6.50 per child with accompanying adult free. Book online here
Cineworld Hull on Kingswood have an offer running – adults pay kids’ prices with the Cineworld Family Ticket. Valid for one adult and one child (aged 14 years and under).
Don’t forget The Deep, You can get an annual pass for The Deep that makes it a very cheap day out if you go a few times.
