Driffield – East Riding Youth Brass Band

East Riding Youth Brass Band have places available for complete beginners in their junior section. Membership of the band is FREE, and instrument hire is also free to members. Rehearsals are usually fortnightly on Saturdays 9.45 – 10.30 at Performing Arts Centre of Driffield School. The senior band would also like to hear from existing brass & percussion players who want experience in a brass band. They accept players up to 21 years of age, who are still in education. East Riding Youth Dance

Ennerdale Cycle Track

The regions only all weather 1km cycle circuit next to the Ennerdale Leisure Centre, offering a number of loops and straights for all cycling abilities, to help gain confidence and develop cycling skills. North Yorkshire Water Park

One of the largest natural sports lakes in North Yorkshire, we offer a range of fun, relaxing and exciting activities for everyone to enjoy.

Activities include kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, open water swimming, pedalos. Also a 2.5km all-terrain walking and cycle track around the lake (FREE to use). Finish off your day with a blast on our ever popular Aquapark, with some of the largest inflatable slides, climbing walls and trampolines in the region.

Family friendly cafe on site offering a selection of hot and cold food and drink. Enjoy the view and a cup of tea even if not partaking in any activities. All welcome. Please book your tickets in advance.

Northern Lights Drama – Acting & Musical Theatre Classes

Rockcity – Climbing, Bouldering and Skatepark

Climbing: Rockcity has a range of adult and children’s climbing walls. There are 3 bouldering rooms ideal for children from 2 years +. Bouldering allows children (and grown ups) to climb without ropes in a safe area with different rooms to explore. There is a ratio of 1 adult to 2 children (aged 2-13). Over 14s can use the facilities unsupervised. Pre-booking is essential.

They also offer a range of weekly clubs which follow the National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme (NICAS).  Ages start at 7, and we have something for all levels if skill and experience for young climbers!

Singing with Zoe

Do you know a child who loves to sing and perform? Singing With Zoe offers weekly singing classes and holiday workshops based in Hessle, East Yorkshire for children and young people.

Our Singing Club (8-17yrs) runs every Thursday in term-time 4.45-6.15pm and is perfect for children of all singing abilities. Students improve their vocal techniques through a range of pop and musical theatre style songs.

All of our classes focus on confidence building, giving young people a voice and having lots and lots of fun. Each class works towards small end of term showcases for family and friends and has the opportunity to perform at local events throughout the year.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Thread and Press – Creative Classes

Thread and Press CIC offer fun, creative sessions for 8-16 years olds in the East Riding of Yorkshire and York area.

We provide exciting and creative classes for children. Sessions include screen-printing, sewing, embroidery, dress-making, clay, painting, drawing and craft. Sessions run throughout the year, on either weekend daytimes or school holidays. Sessions are bookable individually or can be booked in blocks (for a 10% discount). We also offer a 10% sibling discount too.
