There are lots of bonfire night events happening across Hull and East Yorkshire for 2019, here’s a quick Mumbler guide to what’s on ……
Friday 1st November 2019:
Kilham Playing Fields Bonfire and Firework Display – Gates open, bar, hot drinks and food available from 5.30pm. Bonfire lit at 6.30pm. Fireworks from 7pm. Back Lane, Kilham
Saturday 2nd November 2019:
Humble Bee Farm Brilliant Bonfire Night: Flixton, near Scarborough, YO11 3UJ. 5.30 – 7.30pm, tickets are £10 adult, £5 child (plus booking fee), must be booked in advance here. More info on their website.
Fireworks for Hull NICU on West Hull Rugby Ground: West Hull RLFC, North Road, HU4 6JB. 4-9pm, with fireworks at 7.45pm. This is a charity firework display with rides, bouncy castles, slides, stalls and food.
Driffield Bonfire and Firework Display: Driffield Showground, YO25 9DN. Gates open at 4.30pm. Fire lit at 7pm. Display approx. 7.15pm. The event also features a fair, food stands and free parking.
East Park Firework Spectacular: East Park, Holderness Road, Hull. Gates open 5pm. Kids display 6.30pm. Spectacular Finale 8.30pm. With a funfair, firebreathers, and a stuntshow, plus character mascots. Tickets are £5 or family ticket £16, available from Skiddle, The East Park Box Office or East Park Chippy.
Bonfire Night Extravanganza: South Cave Primary School. Starts at 6.30pm.
Hornsea Freeport Carnival Bonfire and Fireworks: Rolston Road, Hornsea. Food traders will be open from 6pm, bonfire will be lit at approximately 7pm. Fireworks at approx 7.15pm. Admission is free, donations of £1 per person gratefully received to help the Carnival Committee pay for the fireworks display.
Langlands Bonfire Night Celebrations: Langlands Nurseries Ltd, Shiptonthorpe, YO43 3PN. Opens at 4.30pm. The fireworks will be accompanied by tunes from the popular film, The Lion King. Food and drink will be available on the night. Advance tickets are – Adult £7, Child £3.50, Children under 3 are free.
Nineteen Restaurant & Bar Bonfire & Fireworks Night: Burstwick Country Golf, HU12 9EF. 6.30 – 11pm. Bonfire and firework display provided by Epic Fireworks. Limited places, £8 per adult, £2 per child, includes pie and chips. Call 01964 670112.
Sand Le MereHoliday Village Fireworks Night: Tunstall, HU12 0JN. 7.30 – 8.30pm, a free event for holidaymakers and owners to enjoy during their stay.
Anlaby Park Methodist Church Bonfire Party: 256 Hull Road, Anlaby, HU4 7RR. 4.00-6.00pm, a free event for families, hotdogs 50p. No carparking on site. Call 01482 569404 for details.
Sunday 3rd November 2019:
Bonfire Night Extravaganza Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel: Willerby, HU10 6EA. From 4-10pm, (timings to be confirmed). This event supports Hull 4 Heroes & Cash for Kids, you can expect a stunning fireworks display, brought to you by the amazing Fireworkers. Food stalls and entertainment will also be available on the night. . Tickets are just £5 per person and can be booked in advance. Under 3’s are free of charge
Stockeld Park Firework Spectacular: Wetherby LS22 4AN. Recommended arrival time is 2.30-4.00pm. Fireworks at 5:30pm. This is their biggest firework display yet, brought to you by The Powder Keg firework team. This event is included free with Forest and Maze tickets, you can pay £7 just for the display. Don’t forget – 10% OFF entry price with Mumbler, details here.Book in advance here. There will also be fire-eaters, side-stalls & a professional live band.
Bonfire Night at Hull Vineyard: Vulcan Street, HU6 7PS. Gates open at 4pm, event begins at 4:30pm. Come along to this fantastic event for fireworks, bonfire, delicious food and hot drinks! There will be free goody bag for all children. Tickets are £2 per adult, £1 per child. Family ticket, £5. Please note no alcohol to be brought on site, and there is no parking available.
Fireworks at The KP Club: Pocklington, Millington Lane, YO42 1UF. Gates open at 5pm. Fireworks at 7.30pm. Minster FM will be hosting the event which will include competitions, live music, fantastic food, rides, stalls and a firework display. The Fireworks at Walkington Playing Field: Sparklers, rides, hot dogs & mulled wine. Tickets £3 each, £6 family, or £8 family ticket on the gate. Silent Fireworks at Pink Pig Farm: Holme Ln, Scunthorpe DN16 3RE. EVENT SOLD OUT.
Tuesday 5th November 2019:
Charity Bonfire and Fireworks in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance: Ship Inn Sewerby, YO15 1EW. 5.30-9.30pm. Bonfire, fireworks and street food.
Hull Wyke Round Table Charity Fireworks, Bonfire and Family Fun: Humberdale Farm, Swanland. Starts at 6.30pm with hog roast, burgers, mulled wine, games, toys and a steam organ. Charity event, all proceeds go back into the local community. Prices are £10 per car, or walk ins £3 per adult / £2 per child.
Pocklington Bonfire Night: West Green, Pocklington, YO42. Gates open at 5pm. Bonfire 5.30pm. Fireworks 6.30pm. Food & Drinks Available (charges apply). Tickets on the Gate, Adults £5, Children 14-17 years £3, Under 14s Free. Discounts for pre-bought tickets, available from the Council office, Pocklington Arts Centre.
Bonfire Funfair: Brickmakers Arms, Walton Street, Hull. Starts at 5.30pm. Fireworks at 7pm. There will be Rhodeo bull, kids rides, trampolines, stalls, food stalls, and a DJ with games.
Bonfire and Firework Display: Southlands Residential Home, Hutton Cranswick, YO25 9PE. Gates open 5.30pm. Bonfire 6pm. Fireworks 6.30pm. Southlands which has hosted its own Bonfire Night for years has opened its doors to the local community. All proceeds from tickets and refreshments will go to the residents fund. Tickets are £3 and are to be purchased from Southlands, please ask for a member of the Activities Team or a Senior Carer.
Goole Bonfire: West Park, Airmyn Road, Goole. Gates from 5pm, Fireworks from 7pm. Bonfire and fireworks celebration, with funfair and food stalls. Advance Single Ticket £3, Family £10, Gate Tickets £4 per person (Airmyn Road Only). Advance tickets available from Junction Box Office up until 5pm on Tuesday 5 November. Personal fireworks including sparklers will not be allowed on site due to safety concerns. No onsite parking.
Hessle RUFC Fireworks and BBQ: Livingstone Road, Hessle, HU13 0EG, BBQ 5.30pm, Fireworks 7.00pm. Adults £2, Under 16s £1, Under 5s free, Family ticket £5.
Beverley Westwood Bonfire and Fireworks: 6.45pm. Free entry but bucket collection on the night.
The Potting Shed Bonfire Night: Beverley, HU17 0NU, 5.00-11.30pm, first display at 7.00pm. Fire Breathers, food & drink stalls, and live music. Booking essential, email email@example.com
Brantingham Firework Extravaganza: Elloughton Road, Brantingham. Doors open 5pm, fireworks 7pm. Advance family ticket £10, on the day £15. Music, entertainment & food. Free parking on site. Call 01482 667342 to book.
