Dummies Corp presents TRASH TEST DUMMIES: 25th to 29th May 2024, 60 minute performance suitable for all ages, at venues across Hull. Flying into Hull from Adelaide, Australia, just for you! Could everyone put your bins out, please? Tonight is bin night, and the Trash Test Dummies are on duty. With side-splitting slapstick comedy, daring acrobatics, and dexterous juggling, these Dummies are off on an imaginative adventure that is anything but garbage. With ballet and balloons thrown in for good measure, this fast-paced hour of “adept unadulterated mischief” (The Times) delivers a dump truck full of hilarity!
Fladam presents GREEN FINGERS: 27th to 31st May 2024, at venues across Hull. Green Fingers is a BLOOMING marvellous musical comedy for 3–11 year-olds, about a boy born with gunky green hands. But is he rotten or just misunderstood? Perhaps the answers can be found in the mysterious school garden… Nominated for a ‘BBC Popcorn New Writing Award’, this Dahl-esque treat from Fladam (Flo Poskitt and Adam Sowter) is packed full of catchy songs, puppetry and plenty of humour. Exploring themes of difference and understanding (as well as encouraging kids to get out into the garden) Green Fingers teaches us all it’s ok to be a little green!

Jason Wilsher-Mills: Are We There Yet? Exhibition runs 24th February to 2nd June 2024
Join us at the Ferens for a colourful journey into the imagination and experiences of disabled artist Jason Wilsher-Mills! Created in response to disabled communities in Hull, Wakefield and Manchester, Jason’s theatrical portraits and sculptures reflect aspects of his personality, memory, and disability. This family friendly exhibition is suitable for all ages and includes Augmented Reality (AR) and interactive experiences.
Jason’s fun, empowering and insightful creations will excite and move you. Through this exhibition you’ll gain a greater understanding of our world and how those with disabilities experience it. Alongside the exhibition will be an exciting and accessible programme of events and activities for all ages. This includes a talk by Jason in May, baby sensory sessions, storytelling, relaxed openings, workshops delivered by artists, and craft sessions.

Join us at Hull Truck Theatre for an adventure that features an arts and crafts session followed by an interactive play that uses whatever you have made.
Designed for children aged 3-6 years old and their families. All shows on Saturday 25th, Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th May will have the same story and themes. 2 times slots:

The Spring Spectacular (25th May – 2nd June 2024) returns over the May half term school holidays, including incredible interactive adventures with Rusticus, animal antics and zoo craft activities, magic shows and more.
Rusticus bring a chance to find out why classic animal baddies from Aesop’s Fables and the Brothers Grimm are a lot cuddlier than they seem in Fairy Tails! (25 May and 1 June), the hunt for a legendary treasure in Viking! (27 May), Arthurian adventures in Knights of the Round Table! (28 May) and the search for the most famous of all the fairies in Thumbelina! (30 May).
