Salary £24,964 per annum (£22,893 for term time)

We are looking for an individual to work at South Hunsley to support the HR team in providing a high quality HR Service with a clear customer focus.  You will work with senior leaders and managers to ensure South Hunsley recruits talented staff safely and effectively.  You will advise on policy implementation, ensuring staff are treated fairly, equitably and consistently within legal and statutory frameworks.  As a HR generalist you will be involved in a wide range of HR activities with lots of opportunities for creativity, research and analysis, decision making and collaboration, with the overall aim of driving performance for the benefit of our students.

Part Time Finance Assistant

Burton Constable Estate is situated near Sproatley and in the heart of the countryside, it is truly a hidden gem. Steeped in history and being in the family for over 500 years. The Chichester-Constable family own and manage the estate that consist of holiday caravan park with homes and lodges, camping and touring facilities. In addition to this there is a large landed estate with agricultural land several farms, cottages and a church. The Burton Constable Foundation who own the hall are proudly supporting the Hull City of Culture 2017 by hosting the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend on their grounds.

A part time Finance Assistant is required to join the small estates team. The main duties will be to support the Finance Manager with general finance and administration tasks for the holiday park and estate. As a Finance Assistant you will be responsible for:
• Using SAGE 50 and SAGE Payroll for processing purchase orders and invoicing
• Purchase invoice processing, matching purchase orders, goods received notes and invoices
• Preparing payment for authorisation and processing onto sage
• Processing daily bank transactions and reconciling the bank account daily
• Managing petty cash transactions on a weekly basis
• Reconcile cash receipts from service areas for the caravan park
• Payroll administration, collecting timesheets and recording ready for payment using SAGE Payroll
• Regular liaison and communication with the Park Administrator and relevant personnel across the caravan park and estate

Experience of Accounts is essential and ideally the use of SAGE. With strong administration skills and good knowledge of Excel you will enjoy working in a small team and be flexible in your approach.
This Finance positon is part-time, Monday to Friday working 20 hours per week working 4 hours a day. A full UK driving licence is required for this role due to its rural location.

Our coaches need to be able to offer commitment and ideally be available at weekends an cover classes during the week. Experience of working with young children and a passion for Rugby are desirable. An extremely outgoing personality who can keep children entertained and engaged is essential.

Training will be provided, including first aid. As a Lead coach it would be a distinct advantage to hold an RFU level 1 coaching certificate, although this is not essential if all other criteria are met.

Rock Up – Part Time Sales Manager

This is a unique opportunity to join one of the UK’s hottest new leisure brands. Rock Up currently has three sites in Hampshire, Birmingham and Hull, as well as further sites planned for 2017 and beyond. Rock Up operates an exciting, new indoor climbing concept, combined with softplay and a high quality cafe. The concept is best described as ‘theme park meets climbing wall’ and has proved hugely popular with consumers.

As the company expands, we are looking to recruit a Part-time Sales Manager at each of our existing sites, to support the onsite and marketing team and be responsible for developing the off-peak business. The role will involve working closely with the Centre Manger, Head of Operations and Marketing team. We are looking for an experienced and successful Sales Manager for each site, ideally with a background in retail, school sales, hospitality or leisure. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maximise sales opportunities as follows
  • Capitalise on existing relationships and nurture these further to increase sales inline with targets
  • Generate prospects and seek new opportunities for off-peak business.
  • Manage and implement a plan of action to deal with the different selling cycles across key groups – schools, youth groups and corporates.
  • Maintain and manage accurate data records and ensure the onsite team feed into this effectiviely.
  • Work within exisiting marketing plan, KPI’s and initiatives and help develop further recommendations.
  • Co-ordinate with onsite teams to deliver high levels of customer service and product experience.
  • Be responsible for weekly reporting into the management team.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Demonstrable sales experience.
  • Experience of the schools market, or show understanding of how to manage school relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well organised and able to manage time efficiently.
  • Be pro-active, able to work alone and equally be able to work as part of a wider sales team and the local onsite team.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, be responsive to opportunities and work in a fast paced leisure setting.
  • An outgoing and enthusiastic personality and a positive attitude.

Rewards: This role is based on a basic + commission reward structure which is commensurate with experience.

‘Move with Peppa’ Class Deliverers

Move with Peppa is a brand-new core movement and dance programme for children aged 16 months to 5 years old. Each week, children and their parents/carers will get to spend 30-45 minutes losing themselves in the magic of Peppa Pig whilst learning the importance of physical literacy. Classes are coming to the HU postcode area from February 2017 and we are looking for people with experience of teaching or delivering activities to this specific age group to join our team. Full training will be given. £10 – £12ph dependent on experience. Term time only.

Here is a list of the recruitment criteria for our Peppa Deliverers:

  • 5+ years of experience delivering activities/dance to 16 months – 5 year olds.
  • Recognised qualification in teaching, dance, fitness, sport movement to music or childcare.
  • DBS clearance.
  • Recognised child protection training (or a willingness to undertake such training).
  • Self-employed and has the required civil liability insurance (guidance can be provided on this).
  • Own your own speakers as we have lots of lovely music.
  • Hold a clean driving license.
