Knowledge, Information and Support workshop for parent/carers with children aged 0-25yrs with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, at KP Resort, Pocklington, 9.45am-2pm.
Thanks to our successful bid for funding from the National Lottery, EYPCF (East Yorkshire Parent Carer Forum) are rolling out the Knowledge, Information and Support workshop across the East Riding. This workshop is designed to deliver information about the SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) process from early support right through to the completion of the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Information is provided about all the steps and processes involved. These include ensuring that the plan is fit for purpose, remains appropriate, is amended if necessary, that annual reviews are carried out within the correct time frame and are relevant and informative.
This is an opportunity to come along and have some time out in pleasant surroundings, enjoy a lovely lunch and chat to other parent/carers with similar experiences. We will also hold a prize draw on the day. Lunch provided. Help with childcare and travel costs is available
