Having a baby is one of the most important times in your life. It’s a time of huge change for people, physically and emotionally. One minute you might be feeling excited, and the next you’re nervous – it can be an emotional roller coaster. In fact, it’s estimated that 1 in 5 women will experience a diagnosable mental health issue before, during and after pregnancy, which is also known as the perinatal period.
That’s where these services come in.
The event provides a fantastic opportunity to find out what the service offers and really importantly you will hear from a mum telling her own story. You will have the opportunity to visit lots of information stands throughout the day providing information of support and services available for all the family right across the patch.
