2016 is the 75th anniversary of the death of Hull’s high-flying heroine, the first woman to fly alone from the UK to Australia. Festival runs 1st July-6th September.
Centred around Zebedee\’s Yard, Whitefriargate, HU1 2EX. Open daily 1st June – 22nd August for events, moths and free shows. Also the Da Vinci Engineered exhibition, 10am-5pm daily, exhibition of each of Leonardo Da Vinci\’s flight and wind machines alongside works from 12 contemporary artists (£5 adult entry, £3 concessions). Also ‘A Moth for Amy’, a trail of moths to follow around the city and surrounding area (similar to the Larkin Toads) runs 1st July to March 2017
