Born to Bond: Babies, Brains and Bonding Workshop

Born to Bond offers two family workshops which are suitable for families who are pregnant and those who have a baby or toddler.

Babies, Brains and Bonding helps families to understand how their baby’s brain is developing and how to support this. We discuss attachment behaviours, the concept of ‘good enough’ parenting and how babies communicate from birth. Next dates: Thursday evenings 23^rd March, 30^th March, 13^th April 2023.

Courses are run by Dr Charlotte Dunster-Page, a Clinical Psychologist, and are based on evidence and clinical experience. The workshops are a warm, nurturing environment for families to discuss the challenges of parenting and meet other families who are equally as curious about baby development. Workshops run from The Armstrong Centre in Beverley.

Babies and toddlers are welcome to attend the sessions – toys will be available. Equally, you are welcome to take some time and space and attend without the little ones. Also coming up – Baby, Sleep and Me helps families understand baby sleep and how this develops. We discuss safe sleep (with no scare mongering!) and sleep hygiene for the whole family so that sleep can be optimized. Next dates: Thursday evenings 18^th May, 25^th May 2023.
