Our Healthcare Support Workers play a vital role in our teams to support patients back to a full and meaningful life. This hands-on role is different in each service but you duties could include monitoring patients and performing basic health checks, making patients feel comfortable, taking blood samples, sterilising equipment or undertaking health promotion and education work.
We’re interested in life experience as well your work experience. Kindness, compassion and the ability to get stuck in are also important.
Health Care Support Worker salary ranges from £22,383 – £24, 336 p/a depending on qualifications and experience. You can also pick up extra shifts and boost your earnings by joining our Bank, with the ability to get paid the same day.
On completion of your training (three years if unqualified) you could apply for a Trainee Nursing Associate role with a salary of £25,147 -£27,596 p/a. A newly qualified Nurse salary ranges from £28,407 – £34,581 p/a.
Starting from scratch? If you’ve never worked in health or social care before you can still apply for a role. Our Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker roles have no qualification requirements and is a great place to start your NHS career.
