Anlaby Park Community Library Beatrix Potter Trail

A FREE event at Anlaby Park Community Library over the Easter school holidays. Download the map and follow the trail of characters. No need to pay or book, however a £1 donation will allow them to collect a chocolate egg with a completed map. Many other handmade spring gifts are also available to buy form the library.

East Riding Leisure Centres – Free Swimming

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is offering FREE swimming sessions for all children aged 16 and under throughout the Easter holidays, as part of the council’s Help for Households campaign. From 22nd March to 7th April 2024 (excluding 29th March and 1st April).

The centres offering free swimming sessions are: Bridlington, Beverley, Driffield, Francis Scaife (Pocklington), Haltemprice, Hornsea, South Holderness, Withernsea.

East Riding Libraries Easter Sessions

Humber Street – Piano Day 2024

Piano Day is to be celebrated in Hull for the first time! The newly-formed Humber St Piano Sessions will host a day of FREE events and performances celebrating the piano and the people who play it. Members of the public of all ages are invited to come and play a tune as part of a mini piano trail on Humber Street and at the train station in Hull. In the afternoon, piano students from across the region will share their love of the instrument in series of short, informal performances. So, if you play the piano – come and join us and play us a tune! Or, if you like all things piano, attend one of our performances. All events are FREE.
