Easter Adventures at Beningbrough: Saturday 23rd March – Sunday 7th April 2024

Join a National Trust Easter egg hunt trail this school holiday. Follow the 10 adventure points around Beningbrough’s garden; how low can you limbo? Let your imagination roam in the storytelling den, have a go at hula an try your hand at egg rolling. Special event from Creative Explorers on Good Friday 29th March 2024 where children can make a number of Easter Crafts and can take home an Easter Gift. 10-11am at Hessle Lady of Lourdes Church Hall, Oaklands Drive, Hessle. £8 for a family of two children. All welcome.

Pick up a copy of our new family trail this Easter holiday and see if you can find the Easter lambs, bunnies and eggs hidden around the sites. Once you have finished at each site, collect a sticker from the front desk. The trail sheet can be picked up from the Hull and East Riding Museum, Streetlife Museum and Ferens Art Gallery. Great Adventures return for Easter 2024! 30th March, 2nd and 3rd April.

Our ever popular Easter Egg-Styravaganza Egg hunt will get your little piggies running around to solve the puzzles and find out where the eggs are!  We have two hunts one for the under 7’s and one for the over 7’s and everyone gets a prize. There’s lots going on at Sledmere this Easter!

There are 3 weekends of our popular Lambing event – 23/24 March, 30/31 March and 6/7 April 2024 – a great opportunity to meet our newborn lambs, enjoy cuddles with our fluffy little flock and if you are around at feeding time you might even get a chance to give them a bottle.

We are thrilled to be joined by Story Craft Theatre on 2^nd April for their theatre show: E-I-E-I-OH NO! It is a very busy time of year on the farm and there is so much to do – come and join us for one udder-believable, hay-larious interactive adventure that is packed full of colourful characters, puppets, games and fun for all the family! 2 performances, 10.45am and 2pm. We will also have a new Easter Trail throughout the school holiday taking place around the grounds. Pick up a sheet at the Ticket Office and move clue-to-clue to spot all kinds of Easter treats – if you finish, there’ll be an Easter treat to collect at the end!
