Peter Rabbit Storytelling – 8th April, 10:30am–3pm: Stories begin at 10:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, 2:30pm – Please meet at the entrance to the Walled Garden. Join us near the Rabbit family’s cosy burrow for the telling of Beatrix Potter’s classic story The Tale of Peter Rabbit. We’ll venture into Mr McGregor’s garden following in the footsteps (or rather paw-prints) of Peter. Please dress for the weather as we will be outdoors. Free to join in, no advanced booking required. Peter Rabbit Activity Session – 8th April, 11am–12pm & 1-2pm: Enjoy fun hands on activities based around the much loved ‘Tale of Peter Rabbit’. Get cosy in a burrow, explore collections of materials, find Peter, dig and rake just like Mr McGregor and explore, taste and touch some vegetables from his garden. The session will end with songs and rhymes and is suitable for children aged 3 – 7 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The cost is £4.50 per child (adults are free). Wild About Birds – 12th April, 1–2pm: Use different senses to explore the species of birds that call Normanby Park home. Make your own bird feeder to take home and discover how birds make nests.
