Hull Museums and Ferens Art Gallery run extra FREE family activities during school holidays. All are free, no booking needed, just drop in. February half term 2025:
- Make a Mini Clay pot – Family Art Activity. 17th February, 1-3pm, Hull and East Riding Museum. Families can make and decorate their own mini pinch pots from clay, inspired by some of the pottery in the Hull and East Riding Museum.
- Mini Masterpieces – Sea explorers art and stories session. 18th February, 10am-12pm, Ferens Art Gallery. Fun art activities and stories inspired by the sea and sea creatures. Designed for children under the age of 7 but older children are welcome to join in the fun too.
- Horsing Around – Family Craft Activity. 19th February, 1pm-3pm, Streetlife Museum. Fun, horse themed crafts for the whole family, inspired by the carriage collection at the Streetlife Museum. Make your own mini swinging horse, horse collage or puppet!
- Mermaids and Sea Monsters – Family Craft Activity. 21st February 1-3pm, Ferens Art Gallery. Fun family activity, create your own mermaid and sea monster crafts and artworks inspired by the Hull Museums and Ferens Art Gallery artworks and collections.
- Animal Puppet Fun – Family Craft Activity. 22nd February 1-3pm, Hands on History Museum. Decorate your own hand puppet to look like your favourite animal, in this fun family craft activity inspired by the toys in the Hands on History Museum collection.
