FOSTER CARERS NEEDED – Could you make a difference?
If you are over 21, have a spare bedroom and live within 30 miles of Hull then you could Foster for Hull City Council Fostering.
There are many different types of fostering to suit you and your family and commitments; this could be full-time (where a child lives with you) or offering regular respite or support to other carers for weekends / a few days at a time.
It doesn’t matter if you are single or in a relationship, you can work, be unemployed or retired, own or rent your home as long as you have the love a time to care for a local child or young person.
You will receive any training needed, a dedication social worker throughout your fostering journey and a fostering allowance of £150-£270+ per child / per week depending on their age and your skill level.
As a Hull City Council foster carer you will receive great support and be joining over 230 other households who foster over 900 local children and young people. You don’t need any special qualifications to foster with Hull, just a loving heart, a safe home and a need to help make a difference to a local child while they are in care.
