Where can you learn?
You can learn at an Adult Learning Centre in Beverley, Bridlington, Cottingham or Goole. Alternatively, some courses are available online.
Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification
The Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is an ideal qualification for anyone wishing to work as a teaching assistant in a school. This course is aimed at those who would like to take up their first role in a school, as well as those already employed, but who do not yet have a qualification in supporting teaching and learning.
We also offer an Introduction to Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools. The Introduction to STLS course is a short 5-week course that will prepare you for the Level 2 STLS qualification.
This Intro course is designed to give you an insight into the different roles available in schools, as well as the skills and knowledge you’ll need to achieve your qualification and to take up a career in supporting teaching and learning in schools.

We’re offering a range of single sessions focused on different types of Neurodiversity. These sessions are designed to help give you an understanding about the impact neurodiversity has on work, life and learning.
