National Lockdown recommenced on 5th January 2021, but this time public parks, gardens & playgrounds that are staying OPEN. The guidance states that exercise should be done locally wherever possible, on your own, with your household, with your support bubble or with one other person.
Here’s a list of the places which are remaining open. All the interior spaces of these listed are closed but the grounds remain open. As always, we recommend checking their website or Facebook page before you visit for the latest updates, some need tickets booking in advance to ensure numbers are kept limited.

The government has instructed that you should minimise time spent outside your home, minimise the number of journeys you make and only travel a short distance within your local area if necessary to exercise. Please only go to these places if they are local to you.
Many of the usual county houses and grounds are closed, if they are not listed below they have closed to the public for lockdown. Open:

Open 10.00am – 3.30pm Tuesday to Sunday, to walk in the grounds and gardens. Farm park and play park remains closed until further notice. Toilet facilities are available.
