From September, children aged nine months old on or before 31 August 2024 may be eligible for 15 hours early education and childcare (up to 30 hours for children aged 3-4 years). To receive the funding in September, parents must apply before 31 August.
We recommend that you apply and inform your chosen childcare provider of your eligibility code by mid-July, as some providers close for the summer.
To be eligible, both parents (or one parent if a single parent household) must work a minimum of 16 hours per week and earn less than £100k a year (each).
