Expectant Parent & New Baby Event: 4th Feb

We’re holding a new event! Especially for expecting parents and new babies.

Its taking place on Sunday 4th February 2024 from 1.30-3.30pm at The Village Hotel, Priory Park, Hull. Free entry and no booking necessary, just turn up. As you come into the Village Hotel take the stairs/lift to the right of reception to the first floor and we are in the conference rooms.

Puddle Ducks will be there running taster sessions of their baby swimming classes in the pool at the Village Hotel! You need to book a slot on one of those in advance by emailing [email protected].

The Village Hotel are kindly doing 25% OFF vouchers for anyone coming to the event to use in their Pub & Grill – so if you fancy a Sunday lunch before, during or after the event get booked in! Or you can use it just to pop in for a coffee/drink and snack.

You can also join in with free tasters of pregnancy yoga, baby massage and local baby classes, meet some of our local support services and chat to a midwife! These are all just drop-in, no booking:

• Midwives from the Hull Women & Children’s hospital Ask a Midwife team will be on hand for any questions or just a general chat, as well as the ante natal education team.
• The Goodwin Breastfeeding Peer Supporters will be there for any help you need with feeding or advice.
• House of Light will be there if you need any help with perinatal mental health support or someone just to chat to.
• My Parenthood will be talking about hypnobirthing and all things birth!
• Homebirth will be there if this is something you are interested in and want to find out more
• Sling advice will be on hand from Peach & Pea
