The focus on small group and one-on-one tuition ensures that students can benefit from individualised attention, giving them the tools they need to succeed.
Gemma Megson (Centre Director) believes that this new venture is not just an investment in education but in the future of the students it serves, offering a fresh opportunity for growth and achievement.
Gemma has extensive teaching experience in English, numeracy and SEND. She is a qualified and experienced SENCo and has supported children with a range of needs, including those with neurodiversity and social, emotional and mental health needs. She has also been a GCSE English examiner for AQA. In 2022 she completed an MSc in Psychology, focusing on children’s attachment, how children learn and the importance of building student-teacher relationships in successful teaching. She has spent the last 2 years working for East Riding’s Children’s Safeguarding.
