Yorkshire’s Winter Wonderland – home to the North of England’s largest outdoor ice rink, The Ice Factor – returns to York Designer Outlet from 18th November, and this year boasts the biggest rink ever, at an astounding 975 sqm! That’s nearly 100 sqm bigger than last year!
Also larger this year is the family of Bobo the Penguin stabilisers – there are now 20 of the friendly penguins to help little ones take their first steps on the ice. The rinkside café PapaKitchen once again offers a cosy après-skate ambience and the perfect location for warming up after skating or having a party with friends. The vintage funfair will delight children and adults alike with its stunning rides from the golden era of fairgrounds as well as games stalls offering prizes galore. Christmas wouldn’t be the same without a visit to Santa, so follow the new Polar Express walk to his enchanting log cabin, with giant-size reindeer and sleigh, and collect a special gift for every child.
