The Big Latch on 2019: In Hull at Queens Gardens, 10.30am. Please arrive 30mins before so we can register and settle everyone in. The Global Big Latch On takes place at a registered locations around the world, where women gather together to breastfeed and offer peer support to each other. Their friends, family and community join this celebration to promote and support breastfeeding. Volunteers from within the community host each location, hosting a Global Big Latch On creates a lasting support network for the community.
City Health Care Partnership would love to welcome you to this event to celebrate the wonderful journeys you are making with breastfeeding and to help normalize breastfeeding in public. We invite any mother and baby who is feeding directly from the breast, using a supplemental nursing system, expressing breast milk or feeding your baby breast milk via an alternative method. We welcome siblings, partners, grandparents and friends.
Bring a blanket and a picnic if you wish. Free hand and foot prints available. Breastfeeding peer supporters and other health related representatives will be present.
