A special opportunity for the whole family to tour the Deer Park and see some of the Red Deer and their calves, up close in their natural habitat.
We’re thrilled to be able to jump back on those tractors and trailers to take you for an awe-inspiring visit to see our beautiful herd of Red Deer and their newborns – definitely one not to be missed!
Our Deer Safari is a fantastic event for all the family – our Farm team will pick you up with their tractors and custom-made trailers to take you through the Grounds and over to the Deer Park where you will get up close to our majestic doe’s and be the first to meet their beautiful, new calves. You can ask us any questions and chat to the farmers who care for the herd throughout the year.

What a way to spend an early Summer evening with this bespoke experience – enjoying an evening Deer Safari!
You’ll travel on the custom-made trailers, pulled by tractors down to visit the Red Deer herd and their calves in the Deer Park, chat to the Sledmere Farm team about the herd, followed by a delicious BBQ and drink overlooking the herd in their peaceful environment in the Parkland on the wider Estate at Sledmere. With limited tickets available, pre-booking is advised!
Menu options:
Posh Dogs with caramelised onion, brown sugar bacon and Cajun mayo.
Vegan Dogs with caramelised red onions, red pepper and Cajun vegan mayo..
Kids Plain Dog.
Chalk Farm red or white wine, Lager, Beer or a range of soft drinks.

There are two time slots to book onto for the evening Deer Safaris – 5.30pm – 6.45pm, or 6.15pm – 7.30pm.
