A special opportunity for the whole family to tour the Deer Park and see some of the Red Deer and their calves, up close in their natural habitat.
We’re thrilled to be able to jump back on those tractors and trailers to take you for an awe-inspiring visit to see our beautiful herd of Red Deer and their newborns – definitely one not to be missed!
Our Deer Safari is a fantastic event for all the family – our Farm team will pick you up with their tractors and custom-made trailers to take you through the Grounds and over to the Deer Park where you will get up close to our majestic doe’s and be the first to meet their beautiful, new calves. You can ask us any questions and chat to the farmers who care for the herd throughout the year.
Daytime Tickets – Sat 8th/Sun 9th June and Sat 15th/Sun 16th June:
Adults: Parkland, Gardens and Farm Park: £15.00, PLUS £4.50
Children: Parkland, Gardens and Farm Park: £8.00, PLUS £2.00
Sledmere Friends Members: FREE
Tickets can be purchased online in advance by selecting a combined General Admission and Deer Safari Ticket, or bought in person or on the phone at the Ticket Office. Wristbands will need to be collected at the Ticket Office on arrival by all visitors.
This is a popular event and so we recommend that tickets are booked in advance, however, you are able to purchase on the day.
Tractors and Trailers will be running continuously throughout the day from 10am until 4.30pm. There are no time slots.
Please note that although we are a dog-friendly site, dogs are not permitted to go on the Deer Safari.
