Join our captivating storyteller on a magical voyage across lakes and over mountains, as brave Lila faces her biggest fears and fulfils her destiny to become a firework maker. This wonderful adventure for the whole family features talking elephants, silly kings, magical creatures, and the timeless message that we all have the power to become the person we dream of being.

Based on Philip Pullman’s celebrated novel, this new intimate and fun production is inclusive and accessible for all, with magic, puppets and lots of audience participation…

The show is aimed at key stages 1 and 2, but audiences from 3 year olds to 12 year olds have enjoyed it.

Multi-award-winning York-based Next Door But One return to Pocklington Arts Centre with this unmissable adventure for children young and old. We are proud to support The Trussell Trust, who work to end food poverty in the UK. 10% of ticket sales from this production will be donated to The Trussell Trust.
