Mumbler fun days are afternoons with children’s activities and games, stalls, local information PLUS a program of taster classes across the afternoon for you to bring your children to try out some of the local baby, toddler and children’s classes. And entry is FREE! No need to book, just turn up.

This time we’re taking over Soccer Kings, indoor football venue on Sutton Fields, Hull. It’s 1-4pm on Sunday 3rd February, all welcome, free entry.

You can join in with free taster sessions of local baby and tots classes, confirmed line up is:

  • Dancestars
  • Rose Elliott Academy of Arts REA Tots
  • Baby Sensory
  • Didi Rugby
  • Water babies
  • PQA Pauline Quirk Academy
  • and of course kids football from Soccer Kings

There will also be children’s activities, games, bouncy castles, soft play and face painting plus lots of local stalls including Prehistoric Hull with their reptiles to meet. (NB there will be a charge for bouncy castles and face painting, everything else is free of charge). Soccer Kings will have their zorb balls out (for ages 7+). Look out for surprise walk-about theatre from Back to Ours!

We will also be raising money for the fantastic local charity Bundles of Joy.

Soccer Kings will be selling hot dogs and other snacks plus hot and cold drinks and their bar will be open.

There is a new project in Hull to collect the feedback and opinions of new parents to improve the services for ante natal, birth and babies, called Maternity Voices in Partnership. We will be having a short research group during the fun day where any new parents can drop in and give us their views on how to best take the project forwards. Please come to the upstairs room next to the bar and share your feedback with us.

It’s all indoors but there is not much heating in the main arena’s so please dress warmly.

There is a free car park opposite (or street parking along Oslo Road).

Hope to see you there!
