Mumbler Meet-Ups
It can be really hard to make new friends when you have a little one. When I had my first baby the only people I knew locally with a baby the same age were a couple of girls I’d luckily met at an ante natal class. Getting out and meeting people can be so important both for you, and for your babies and children, after a bad nights sleep I really needed to get out the house and having others to talk to really did help. Even now my ‘baby’ is 4 I still find it a lifesaver to get out to a group or class or meet people for a playdate.
So I thought it would be a good idea to start up some ‘Mumbler Meet Ups’, where I set a date and venue and you can come along and make some new friends. It could be that you are new to the area, or you could be a local but haven’t been out to many things yet, or you’d just like a chat. The next one is September –
When: Friday 7th September ‘18, 10am-12pm.
Where: Beach Cove, Hornsea Freeport, Hornsea, HU18 1UT.
What: Indoor soft play & outside play area. Standard entry price (£3.50 per child over 9 months old, adults free) but they are kindly providing a free hot drink for all adults saying ‘Mumbler’ on entry.
All welcome, come along for the kids to play and you to make some new friends.
