Several neighbourhoods are taking part in these as an alternative to Trick or Treating for this year, decorating houses for you to walk around and look at (I’m taking sweets in a bag and giving my kids one each time they see a house spookily decorated) –
- North Ferriby: A hunt around the village of North Ferriby for Halloween Decorations. Take your own sweets and pop one in your child’s bag each time they find one! Decorate your house and add it to the list for people to come and see (details on their facebook event here). Hunt running throughout October Half Term
- Hessle: – Walk around Hessle looking for the pictures in the windows
- Kingswood: – A walk around Kingswood looking at the decorated houses. More details on the Facebook page here where you can add yourself to the trail and a map will be produced of the houses/streets taking part.
- Beverley: – Residents in Beverley are decorating their houses, displaying pumpkins or spooky pictures in their windows for the kids to spot on a Halloween walk. More details on their Facebook page here.
