On Saturday 1 June 2024, from 10am to 4pm, experience the fun, family-friendly Georgian Day at Beverley Guildhall.
From light-hearted performances to face painting and children’s activities, there is something for all the family. Come along and meet costumed characters who will bring to life the crime and punishment past of Beverley Guildhall and hear about what life was like in Georgian times. Enjoy a performance from the region’s very own Regency Dancers who will be around throughout the day, and why not have a go yourself? Whilst visiting the Guildhall, why not take a look around the Through the Eyes of a Georgian Gentleman to discover the fascinating life and times of John Courtney, a gentleman of Beverley, through his revealing diaries. This is a free event, just drop in.
