Join us at Sledmere to celebrate the Coronation of their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
Saturday 6th May – Grounds and Park open as normal, House closed, Café open with a lighter menu.
Sunday 7th May – Join us for our Sledmere Coronation Party as part of The Coronation Big Lunch.
- Bring your own picnic or pre-order a delicious picnic hamper from The Coach House Cafe which includes: Sledmere apple juice, Coronation chicken sandwiches, flapjack and brownie bites, homemade scones with jam and cream, mini Rose Cottage sausage rolls and Pipers crisps. Coronation hampers can be pre-ordered here for 2 people (£19.95), 4 people (£34.95) or 6 people (£49.95). Pre-ordering closes at 5pm on Friday 5th May.
- Competitions and Games including: Best Dressed Coronation Outfit, Best Decorated Children’s Crown, Most Royal Looking Dog and Best Dressed Coronation Cake (Entries are £2 for as many competitions as you wish to enter, with entry fees donated to the Alzheimer’s Society) Fantastic prizes to be won, as well as a very special celebrity Prize giver!
- Our very own double size Coronation Throne, perfect for a Coronation photo opportunity!
Monday 8th May – Open as usual, and holding a Grand Prize Raffle in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society as part of The Big Help Out.
