This summer, more than half of all exams were graded A* or A, but life at Hymers College Sixth Form is about more than just outstanding grades. The school is dedicated to ensuring your child develops into a well-rounded adult.
As well as the specialist teaching you’d expect, Hymers also offers over 100 extra curricular clubs and activities to help your child explore new things and develop their knowledge. From CatZero sailing to high-level sporting opportunities, participation in musical concerts to student-led careers societies such as Engineering and Law.
Your child would have access to a wide range of facilities, including a Music Centre, theatre, art studios and Sports Centre, including a swimming pool. There’s no neeed to worry about getting them there either, with bus stops across East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.
On hand to support their success, Hymers has a dedicated learning support team, two nurses focused on physical and mental health, plus careers support. As part of this, the school has a specific Medical, Dental and Veterinary pathway, which is tailored to each students needs.
A limited number of bursary places are available to support talented pupils from low income families too.
