Are you a parent based in Yorkshire & Humber who is thinking about or currently trying to return to work? OR have you already returned to work in a lower skilled/paid job, but aren’t satisfied? If yes, then this could be the programme for you!
The CIPD Parent Returner programme* will help 150 parents in the Yorkshire and Humber area to get back into work.
It’s completely FREE and designed to support your return to work after taking time out to care for your child(ren). You will receive mentoring by a qualified CIPD member who has the right skills and experience to help you rebuild your confidence and self-esteem. They will also provide practical support on job searches, CV writing and interview techniques. All of this can be done in person or online from the comfort of your own home – whatever suits you best.
As a programme participant, you will receive a free ticket to Pregnant Then Screwed Live in York on Sunday 15th March 2020, where Rosie Ramsey, Brummy Mummy of Two, Candice Brathwaite and many more will be discussing parenting and work. The day is also jam-packed with workshops and the opportunity to meet employers from the region with live flexible job opportunities, details here.
The programme is open to both men and women returning parents. Register your interest here and the team will call you with more information to make sure it’s the right decision for you. More information on the CIPD website here.
