Working in adult social care offers so many opportunities to make a difference.
An initiative run by East Riding of Yorkshire Council, the mission of ‘Choose Care, Change Lives’ is to inform, educate and inspire people to consider careers in care across East Riding of Yorkshire. By providing honest information and testimonials from those already in the industry, we hope to help people make an informed decision as to whether a career in care is right for them.
We are seeking some great new care workers and those essential workers who keep the care sector going (including cooks, cleaners, gardeners and drivers). We are looking for people with the right values and attitude to work for the East Riding care sector – could this be you?
Our main priority for any job role is to find people with the right attitude and behaviours to match our own. You don’t need to have experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications to get started – here at East Riding of Yorkshire Council and the many independent care settings we’re happy to work with you to help you to become an excellent care worker.
Do you think that you have what it takes to work in care?
Every role is different in adult social care and no two days will be the same. People come from all walks of life to join the East Riding workforce.
