Flemingate Shopping Centre (grassed area), 10am-4pm.
Beverley Rocks (facebook group where people can paint and hide rocks, then find and re-hide them around our area) and Flemingate have teamed up to put on an exciting event for all you rock painters out there to come together and raise funds for a really important cause.
Join us on Wednesday 23rd August on the grassed play area at Flemingate Beverley. The event will go ahead in all weathers as we have the use of a large retail unit if it is raining (but fingers crossed for sunshine so we can be outside).
It will be set up with everything you need to let your creative imagination get to work. The event is open to everyone.
Activities will include:
– Rock Painting – of course!
– Rock Swap – bring a rock you would like to swap
– Rock mapping – mark on a map where you have found rocks
– Rock Painting Demonstrations from local artists
– Launch of ‘Travel Rock’ challenge
We are asking for a suggested £2 donation for everyone participating to raise money to help a very special little local girl, Darcee Ella Cawthorne.
